FMPS News

May 2008

As we watch another school year draw to a close, I think of how much your children have grown physically and socially this year and the friendships that have been made. Relationships that begin in preschool can last a lifetime and what a wonderful collection of memories can begin there. On behalf of the staff and myself, we thank you for entrusting your child’s care and education with us this year and for supporting the activities and projects of the school. For those that will return to us next year, we look forward to seeing you in August. For those that will move on, we wish you God’s blessings. To all, we hope your summer is full of fun times and the making of wonderful memories with your precious children.

Lunch Bunch bills for May will be tallied on May 22.  Lunch Bunch will be offered May 27, 28 and 29 (we are not in school Memorial Day) but payment needs to be made either in advance or daily for those 3 days. You may put payment inside the lunch box.

Remember that September tuition is due by May 29th. You may bring it to school or mail it to: Friedberg Moravian Preschool

This tuition payment secures your child’s space for the coming school year.

Consideration is being given to the formation of a toddler class on Monday and Wednesday as a Mother’s Morning Out. Children age 1 (before October 16) could attend on either or both days. If you or someone you know would be interested, please share that interest with a teacher or myself.

We sadly say good-bye to four staff members on May 29. Mrs. McKenzie is retiring, Mrs. Vannoy is looking forward to the birth of her second child, Mrs. Gianforte will be joining the staff of Union Grove Christian School and Mrs. Craver will return to full time employment with the DSS in Davidson County.  Each of these ladies has given tremendous love and devotion to the care and education of the children at Friedberg and they will all be missed, but we wish for them great blessings as they embark on new adventures.

The teachers and parent helpers are planning fun and delicious end of the year celebrations and we look forward to seeing you there. For questions on details of your child’s event, contact your child’s teacher.

                                                                                    Sunshine blessings,
