The
most often heard comment lately has been, “The days and weeks are really going
by quickly.” It seems that we only began this school year and it’s already
spring. The teachers are making plans for end-of-the-year celebrations so mark
your calendars and don’t miss the fun. The staff strives to plan special events
that they feel are kid-friendly and stress free for adults and most of all fun
for everyone. At the close of the school year we want to celebrate the
preschool experience with enjoyable family activities that will leave your children
with fun-filled memories of their preschool friends and teachers.
*The
readiness and 4’s classes will have a family cookout at the pavilion on Wednesday,

cookout. Your child’s teacher will give you specific times for each event.
*Two
and 3 year-olds’ families are invited to gather on the playground for a picnic
on Tuesday, May 26. Your child’s teacher will provide details.

If you
choose to bring younger siblings to the playground or gym during the preschool
hours, please do not leave them unattended for the teachers to supervise. You
must watch them carefully and abide by the same rules that all the preschool
children follow; for example, children are not allowed on the stage or to walk
on the bleachers. You are welcome to visit the playground and gym but the best
time is before and after the classes have playtime. If you are there when the
classes are there be aware that groups of older children can be hazardous for
smaller children. Our primary concern is the safety of your child.
